Art Instructor needed
The Fredric Ozanam Center in Saanich is looking for someone with experience working with individuals with special needs to lead an art class once a week. The instructor should be flexible and able to work creatively with high needs individuals. The time commitment would be once a week in the mornings for a couple of hours in a small safe intimate setting. We offer a safe and supportive team environment. Front Line Food Bank Volunteers
The Social Concern office handles hundreds of requests for food each month at the food bank and needs volunteers to help with handing out food bags to recipients. The volunteers should be comfortable working with the poor and with vulnerable individuals and families. Volunteers will need to do light lifting of grocery bags and light use of the computer system. Food Bank Stock Volunteers
The Social Concern office handles hundreds of donations every year to help feed the poor. The food bank needs people who would like to help sort and organize the food that comes in.
The volunteers must be organized, quick and can lift boxes on and off the delivery trucks and sort items onto shelves and in bags. We offer flexible shifts and a fun team work environment. If interested please call 250-382-0712.Food Safe is an asset.
